Children First Awareness Week 1st – 7th November 2021

Children First Awareness Week (CFAW) is taking place this week, running from 1st to 7th November. The aim of the week is to raise awareness of Children First and remind wider society, including organisations working with children and young people, of our collective responsibility to keep them safe in our communities. Tusla are delivering this information campaign on behalf of the DCEDIY Children First Inter-Departmental Implementation Group (CFIDIG).

As part of the campaign, a new website is launching at www.gov.ie/campaign/ChildrenFirst where users will find key information about Children First. A series of information videos featuring a public health nurse, social worker and garda will further spread awareness of the work being done across society to keep children safe. These resources will be supported by an advertising campaign across digital and mainstream media platforms and they will be promoted this week on DCEDIY (@dcediy) and Tusla (@tusla) social media accounts.
